As I wait to see if the Bears can make up for some pretty sad plays earlier in this game, I thought I'd update on some wedding things. Now, I won't be posting pictures of my dress (when I choose it), but we did find our bridesmaids' dresses and I thought you might be interested. Especially if you know the saga that has been finding these dresses. Mainly the color...who knew the right purple would be so hard to find???
Anyway, Maggie and Brian's sister Erin will wear this dress:
And my sisters will wear this dress:
Both dresses are from Nordstorm and designed by Maggy London. They are almost exactly the shade of purple I had been picturing and I am so relieved to have found - and purchased - the dresses. Now, to find my dress.
We've also interviewed two caterers and will be scheduling tastings with both after the holidays. And we're taking engagement photos in a few weeks. And Brian's closer to choosing DJs to interview. It's all starting to take shape and now that's not crazy because it's only about nine months away!
Update: the Bears just scored - tied with 6 minutes to go...any guesses as to what might happen? ::sigh:: Not sure I want to stay up for this...

I LOVE the color. The styles are sooo cute too. It seems like your wedding should be closer than 9 months from now for some reason. I'm so excited for it!

I'm with everyone else...love the dresses and the color (especially as I am partial to it). It's a big thing to cross off the list! wohoo!
Thanks for the support, ladies! I was so relieved to be able to cross that off the list, more so because I really do love the color.
