Thanking the lion
Snow day tomorrow! We're getting hit with a pretty nasty snowstorm so no work for me tomorrow. I'm not thrilled about missing a day of instruction, but I'm glad for another day of rest and some time to work on grad school stuff. And while I'm pretty much over the cold, wet weather, I'm looking forward to March going "out like a lamb." Have a good Monday, all!

I have to say that you are very lucky finding out the night before that school is cancelled! That way you get to sleep in! Hope you are enjoying your day off.
Wow! How nice! I kinda miss snow days... I can't remember the last time I had one. I hope you had a productive day at home, and if not, I hope you at least enjoyed the day to relax.
I wondered if you had gotten the day off today! Hooray!
we had 2 hours optional late time... which we new people passed up foolishly. what are we doing?? everyone kept commenting we were "chicago strong" b/c Obama had strong feelings about school closings last round of flurries.
