1. This is my 200th post at this location. Thanks for sticking with me.
2. Turns out that working full time, going to grad school full time (even if it is online), sitting on the Academic Leadership Team, trying to plan a wedding, babysitting once a week, and having some semblance of a life is a little challenging.
3. Good thing I'm not one to back down from a challenge.
4. I apologize if I've been a little out of touch.
5. I must be liking my job better this year - Brian pointed out that I haven't publicized a countdown to break yet.
6. It's true, although I'm certainly wishing frantically for time to speed up the next 40 hours and then SLOW down for the subsequent two weeks.
7. I am very nearly done with my holiday shopping - only have to buy for Brian's mom and cousin (whose name I pulled in the annual gift exchange).
8. My holiday gift giving instincts seem to have misplaced the "economy in crisis" memo.
9. One week from today and we'll be less than 12 hours away from another whirlwind trip to Chicago!
10. Happy "birthday" Addy! I can't believe it's been a month already...

1. I hope that I don't already have a comment posted. I typed one out but then it said it couldn't post it. I am trying again.
2. Addy says thank you for the birthday wishes...well she would say thank you if she knew how to talk or what is going on. She is excited to show off more of her dance moves in a few days.
3. When are you flying back? I hope that you have good weather. We are getting hit with another snowstorm. Tell Brian to be prepared for cold weather (I remember last Jan. he didn't like the cold when you were in Madison)
4. I am impressed that you don't have a countdown. Even with my dream class of last year I had a countdown.
5. Can't wait to see you. Are you going to bring wedding magazines so we can all help you daydream about your wedding?
1. You did okay - only one post. But I guess you can see that.
2. We can't wait to see her new moves.
3. We fly to Chicago on Christmas morning - how crazy is that going to be? It sounds like the storms will be gone by then. We hope. Brian has been updating me daily on how cold it will be while we're there. It makes me laugh. He'd never survive in the midwest.
4. No countdown, but I sure have not done anything at work today. Other than order a last-minute present, prep an Econ simulation, and browse the Knot.
5. I most certainly will bring them! I want to show you the wedding dresses I am thinking of and hear your ideas. Plus I just like the idea of getting to be all girly with some of my favorite women. I cannot wait!
