Career counseling

Every year, I ask my students to evaluate the class. For my seventh grade students, I ask them to suggest a job I would be good at outside of teaching. I just finished reading them and this year, the suggestions were (note, I copied them verbatim):

• Mom, Mom and Mom
• Principal
• Tutor
• Behavior specialist/helper
• Disciplinarian
• Police officer (wha...?)
• Senator
• Lawyer
• Person that does something for the government
• Computer technologist

Cracks me up.

Also, day two of finals and lunch is chicken strips, buffalo wings and fries. Mmm...brain food.
